Instructions

  1. Rinse rice until water runs clear. Cook with water in a rice cooker.
  2. Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt. Fold into cooked rice. Let cool.
  3. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat, shiny side down.
  4. Spread rice evenly on nori, leaving 1 inch at the top edge.
  5. Add fillings across the center. Roll tightly using the mat.
  6. Slice roll with a sharp, wet knife. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger.
