Experience the taste of Japan with this authentic sushi recipe. Made with fresh fish, seasoned rice, and a touch of wasabi, it's a delightful balance of flavor and tradition.

Ingredients
2 cups sushi rice
2 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Nori (seaweed sheets)
Fresh fish (salmon, tuna, etc.)
Cucumber, avocado, or other fillings
Soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger (for serving)
Instructions
Rinse rice until water runs clear. Cook with water in a rice cooker.
Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt. Fold into cooked rice. Let cool.
Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat, shiny side down.
Spread rice evenly on nori, leaving 1 inch at the top edge.
Add fillings across the center. Roll tightly using the mat.
Slice roll with a sharp, wet knife. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger.
